Dorothy Vernon Brown – OSBN® Advisory Board Member

Dorothy Vernon-Brown is a veteran marketing strategist. She helps her clients identify, grow,
retain their most profitable clients by using both a digital and classic approach.
She is passionate about delivering value and works best with clients serious about growing their capabilities to grow their businesses.

Dorothy is often tapped to speak at seminars and community events. She is the current vice chair of DonorDrive4Dorothy, a Canadian registered non-profit organization dedicated to educating, raising awareness and actively recruiting black and other ethnic stem cell donors for Canada’s One Match Stem Cell and Marrow Network (OneMatch).

She is a past board member of the Canadian Association for Women Executives and Entrepreneurs (CAWEE) and past president of BNI Elite, Mississauga. Dorothy is a 2015 recipient of the prestigious Woman of Honour Award given by the Canadian Black Business Professional Association (BBPA) for outstanding contribution to the black community, as well as, the 2013 recipient of the Phenomenal Woman Award for her unwavering support of women and their progress.

She is an official CN Tower Edge walker. Dorothy holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Social Sciences and History from the University of the West Indies (UWI) and a Masters Certificate in Marketing Communications from the Schulich Business School, York University.

Dorothy is married to Glenmore with two adult children – Alexandre and Anya-Belle.

Teresa Slack – OSBN® Advisory board Chairperson

Teresa (Terri) Slack offers clients the benefit of 30 years of experience. She is not only knowledgeable in bookkeeping, but in accounting and system setup, business management, sales and marketing, customer service, staff training, policy and procedures, forecasting, staff leadership and mentor-ship.

With such a well rounded skill set, Terri can help clients with more than just their bookkeeping, but can consult on their business operations as a whole.

Grace Kusta Nasralla – OSBN® Advisory Board Member

Grace is the owner of e-presence Consultants Inc, founder of OSBN® and HUDDLESPACE by OSBN®.  Grace holds a Bachelor degree in Communication Arts with emphasis on Radio, TV and Film and an Honours Diploma in Business Administration and Accounting.  She has been a Microsoft Certified Trainer since 2009 and is a member of Microsoft Partners Network.

Grace originally comes from Lebanon, a small country in the Middle East, and has for the past 28 years been establishing her career path in the greater Toronto area.  She worked in the Canadian non-profit and corporate world for over 24 years where she equipped herself with invaluable experience that prepared her to start her own business in 2005.

She founded Ontario Small Business Network (OSBN®) as an e-presence Consultants Inc. project in 2010.  OSBN®, the virtual community of over 1500 Ontario small businesses has become the #1 marketing vehicle for small businesses in the Halton and Peel regions of Ontario, Canada.

In 2017, OSBN® expanded to move into a new premises (HUDDLESPACE by OSBN®) and turn it into a business hub whose mandate is to equip small business for growth.
