Dorothy Vernon-Brown is a veteran marketing strategist. She helps her clients identify, grow,
retain their most profitable clients by using both a digital and classic approach.
She is passionate about delivering value and works best with clients serious about growing their capabilities to grow their businesses.
Dorothy is often tapped to speak at seminars and community events. She is the current vice chair of DonorDrive4Dorothy, a Canadian registered non-profit organization dedicated to educating, raising awareness and actively recruiting black and other ethnic stem cell donors for Canada’s One Match Stem Cell and Marrow Network (OneMatch).
She is a past board member of the Canadian Association for Women Executives and Entrepreneurs (CAWEE) and past president of BNI Elite, Mississauga. Dorothy is a 2015 recipient of the prestigious Woman of Honour Award given by the Canadian Black Business Professional Association (BBPA) for outstanding contribution to the black community, as well as, the 2013 recipient of the Phenomenal Woman Award for her unwavering support of women and their progress.
She is an official CN Tower Edge walker. Dorothy holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Social Sciences and History from the University of the West Indies (UWI) and a Masters Certificate in Marketing Communications from the Schulich Business School, York University.
Dorothy is married to Glenmore with two adult children – Alexandre and Anya-Belle.
